GVI ClearVision SPECT imaging systems provide exceptional image quality and can accommodate patients up to 500 pounds. The completely open system design featuring upright (seated) imaging with unobstructed view is comfortable and preferred by patients. The ultra compact system is easy to site, only requires an 8? x 7? space and is ideal for the private office environment. For lower volume practices ClearVision is available in a single detector configuration field upgradable to dual detectors if practice requirements change.
GVI Medical has extensive history, knowledge and experience optimizing nuclear cardiology SPECT imaging in the outpatient environment. Our focus is providing our customers premier cost-effective solutions to improve practice performance.
If your practice is referring SPECT studies to the hospital or another location or is using a contract mobile service to perform the studies, you could be losing an additional revenue opportunity from your own patients. If your practice is using vintage SPECT equipment, GVI provides a cost-effective replacement to new generation, outpatient optimized, dual detector SPECT technology decreasing imaging time & patient radiation exposure while improving performance & reliability with reduced service costs. If your practice performs SPECT imaging in low volume satellite locations or is considering an outreach strategy to expand business, you might significantly reduce equipment & FTE costs by implementing mobile/portable SPECT.
GVI can help every step of the way to cost-effectively make nuclear cardiology imaging service in your practice a clinical reality. The only physical requirement is an 8? x 7? location for a new dual detector system and hot lab. With our affiliates we reduce the start-up complexity, manage the implementation details and save your valuable time to focus on patient care.
In the current nuclear cardiology reimbursement climate optimizing productivity, workflow and reducing inefficiency are more important than ever. New technology dual detector SPECT systems, like ClearVision?, are cost-effective, highly reliable and image faster with reduced patient radiation dose. Innovative upright (seated) imaging can perform studies on additional patients not possible with older designs, such as claustrophobic and bariatric cases.
Many practices have found that by reducing downtime and saving on service expense combined with available Section 179 investment tax credits there are real value savings in upgrading to new SPECT technology. Beginning in 2012 reimbursement by CMS and private insurers mandates accreditation by ICANL or ACR. Upgrading to new technology can insure the equipment in your lab can meet the requirements.
With current reimbursement challenges a practice averaging > 30 SPECT patient studies/month could increase net income by implementing direct SPECT imaging service. Also with your own SPECT equipment you have the potential to increase study volume by providing the service for patients from other physicians in your practice area.
Shared asset imaging with a mobile SPECT camera provides the unique ability to service multiple office locations using one camera and technologist. Mobile SPECT utilization is an extremely cost-effective imaging method versus dedicating fixed site cameras with associated service contracts and CNMTs at individual satellite or outreach office settings.
